Haj 2014 applications to be issued from Saturday

Hyderabad, Jan 31 : Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Ahmadullah will release the Haj Application Forms for the Haj 2014 at 11:30 AM on Saturday at the Haj House at Nampally.

State Haj Committee (SHC) Prof. S Shukoor on Friday held a meeting of the representatives of the District Haj Voluntary socieites in the Haj House and explained them the guidelines relating to the filling up of the Haj Application forms. He requested the Haj Socieites to wrok unitedly for the good cause as usual. He also appealed them to inform the Haj appicants about the guidelines. Irfan Shareed AEO was also present on this occasion.

Prof. S. A. Shukoor further said that Haj Application Forms can be obtained fre of cost from the office of the AP Stae Haj Committee or be downloaded from the website www.hajcommittee.com. The intending pilgrims should fill up the forms as per the details of their International Passport Records in English language in bold letters. One color photograph of front pose (70% face and 30% body) with white background of the size 3.5 cmX 3.5 cm must be pasted on each application form.

He said that the Reserved category pilgrims both 70+ and 4th timers should submit the Haj Application Forms along with original passport and one photograph with name & passport number written on the back. Reserved category applicant should not have performed Haj during his life time either through Haj Committee or through Private operator or any other means.

Prof. Shukoor further said that the pilgrims under 4th timer who has applied continuously for the last three years and was not selected or was selected and could not proceed to Haj will be registered under the 4th timer category. Such applicants will have to indicate the cover number of each of the last three years, otherwise the application will be treated in the General category for Qurrah.  INN
