Hyderabad, Nov 23 : PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana on Saturday refuted allegations that Seemandhra leaders were demanding a package for their region to allow bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to media persons at the Ministers’ Quarters here, Botsa said that the reports of package for Seemandhra region were false and baseless. He said no package has been sought either from the Group of Ministers (GoM) or the Centre. He said that the Seemandhra leaders were firm on their stand of keeping the State united. He said that the Congress leaders were fighting for the rights of the people they represent and not indulging in any business to seek anything in exchange.
Botsa said that that the concerns of people from Seemandhra have been expressed before the GoM and it would ensure that on injustice is done to the people of this region. INN
