Elder man dies after falling from height

Hyderabad, Nov 20 : A 75-year-old man died on the spot after he accidentally fell down from the fourth floor of his apartment.

According to Saroornagar police, the deceased, V Ram Reddy, accidentally fell down from the pent house of Shantana Apartments in Saroornagar, where he used to live. He died instantaneously. The body was later shifted to the OGH mortuary for post-mortem.

Four killed in road accidents

Hyderabad, Nov 24 : Four persons, including two friends, were killed in three separate cases of road accidents in different parts of the city.

Two friends and neighbours, G Ram Prasad (28) and G Venkata Ramana (24) were killed when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a tipper lorry near their residence in Siddiq Nagar of Raidurgam police limits. They met with the accident while taking a U-turn. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where both were declared brought dead.

In another case, 70-year-old Burhanduddin, who was hit by a motorcycle while crossing the road near Shaikpet Nala on November 13, died at the Osmania General Hospital on Tuesday night. He was residnt of Aramgarh in Rajendra Nagar.

In a separate case, 32-year-old S Santosh suffered grievous injuries when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a car near Vaidevi Nagar crossroads on Tuesday night. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. He was an employee of a private firm and resident of Vijayapuri Colony.

Missing boy’s body found in well

Hyderabad, Nov 20 : The Mailardevpally police has retrieved the body of a 12-year-old boy from a well near his residence in Lakhsmiguda.

According to police, the boy, M Sekhar, was missing from his home for the last three days. His body was found in a well near his residence no Tuesday. Police suspect that he might have fell into the well accidentally.

In a similar case, 35-year-old N Ramesh, who was missing from his home since November 19, was found dead in a well near SVR Timber Depot in Meerpet police limits on Tuesday evening. He was an electrician and resident of Amber Nagar of Adikmet. Police shifted the body to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary and began investigation.

Two persons commit suicide

Hyderabad, Nov 20 : A 19-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Kushaiguda police limits.

According to police, the deceased, P Suresh, took the extreme step at his residence in Bharat Nagar on Tuesday night after he was rebuked by his father Chinna Rao for not being regular on job and returning home late in the night.

In another case, 40-year-old Sri Latha, who had set herself ablaze on Tuesday at her residence in Mochi Colony, succumbed to burn injuries at the Osmania General Hospital on Wednesday morning. Sri Latha was married to Babu Rao about 20 years ago and had no children. The same is suspected to be the reason behind suicide, Kalapather police said.

Woman dies after falling from running train

Hyderabad, Nov 20 : A 35-year-old woman died on the spot after she accidentally fell down from a running train at Kachiuguda Railway Station.

The accident occurred on Tuesday on Platform No 2 of the station. The deceased was identified as Raziya Sultana, a resident of Vidya Nagar. She was a flower vendor, according to Kachiguda Railway Police.
