Abhaya case: RR Bar Assn not to defend accused

Hyderabad, Oct 23 : The Rangareddy District Bar Association on Wednesday took a unanimous decision not to appear for the two accused youth in the court Abhaya case, wherein the 22-year-old IT employee was kidnapped and raped.

The advocates decided that they would not defend the accused and would also discourage other lawyers from doing so. Demanding stern action against the accused for their heinous act, they said that both the accused deserve no mercy. They also demanded speedy trial of Abhaya case. INN
