Women committed suicide after she beaten up by neighbours

Hyderabad, Sept 28 : A 30-year-old housewife committed suicide after she was beaten up by her neighbours in Santoshnagar police limits.

According to police, deceased – Shahnaaz Begum, Occ: housekeeping at Nampally Care Hospital, w/o Mohammed Khaleel, r/o, Rajanarsimha colony, Santoshnagar. Shahnaaz had quarreled with her neighbours Wahed and his son Zahid on 27th Sept by evening hours, when she asked them to return the hand loan amount of Rs 60 thousand which they took from her 2 years back, instead of repaying the said loan amount, angry Wahed and his son Zahid quarreling with her and abusing her in filthy language, after that they two have beaten her with hands, due to which mentally depressed Shahnaaz committed suicide by pouring kerosene and setting herself ablaze with match stick at about 11 PM, immediately she was shifted to nearest hospital for treatment where in undergoing treatment she died on 28th Sept by 2 AM.

Police registered a case under section 306 IPC and the body shifted to OGH mortuary, after postmortem the body was handed over to her relatives. Case is under investigation. INN
