Hyderabad, August 19 : BJP MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Monday alleged that the ongoing agitation in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions was part of conspiracy hatched by the Congress party to further delay the formation of Telangana.
Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises here, Nagam alleged that the Samaikhyandhra agitation was superficial and was being carried out to delay the process of formation of Telangana State. He said Congress leaders were behind the agitation and people were being instigated to participate in the same.
Demanding that the Congress-led UPA Government introduce the Telangana Bill in the ongoing monsoon session of the Parliament, Nagam said that Bharatiya Janata Party would support the Bill if the Congress party falls short of numbers to pass the Bill in both the Houses of Parliament. INN
