YSRCP leaders launch ‘fast unto death’ for Samaikhyandhra

Kadapa, August 12 : Rayachoti MLA Srikanth Reddy and Kadapa’s former mayor Ravindranath Reddy launched their ‘fast unto death’ here on Monday in protest against the Centre’s decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh.

The YSRCP leaders announced that they would not withdraw the fast until the Centre reverses its decision on formation of Telangana. Meanwhile, the YSRCP activists gave a call for Rayachoti bandh to express solidarity with the ‘fast unto death’. Srikanth Reddy has already resigned from his post and is actively participating in Samaikhyandhra agitation since then.
