KCR’s “Supari” story is fake: Cong MLA

Hyderabad, Aug 7 : Kamalapuram MLA G Veerashiva Reddy on Wednesday ridiculed the TRS claims that there was a threat to the life of K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Talking to reporters in the Assembly premises here, Veerashiva Reddy alleged that KCR himself was enacting the drama of someone giving “Supari” on his name to draw public attention. He said KCR lost his prominence after the Congress party took a decision in favour of Telangana State. Therefore, he said that TRS leaders came out with a sensational story of a possible assassination bid on KCR.

The Congress MLA said that KCR faces more threat from his own family members than outside and one of them could have given “Supari” to eliminate him to take his position in the party.

Veerashiva Reddy also slammed the TDP, TRS and YSRCP and said that these parties were known for staging political dramas. He also announced that agitation to keep Andhra Pradesh united would continue and intensified further. INN
