Hyderabad, Aug 6 : AICC Secretary and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Tuesday accused the Seemandhra leaders of creating differences among Telugu speaking population.
Talking to reporters here, Sudhakar Reddy said that some Seemandhra leaders were using unparliamentary language and provocative statements on the Telangana issue. He said that such a behaviour would create enmity among the Telugu speaking population. He said that the division of Andhra Pradesh was on geographical lines due to economic factors. The entire population continues to speak the same language and share more or less the same culture. Therefore, he said the leaders should restrain from dividing the Telugus.
Sudhakar Reddy said that the Centre was planning to give Bhadrachalam to Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation. However, he said representation would be made to the High Powered Committee to ensure that Bhadrachalam remain part of Telangana State. INN
