Hyderabad, July 26 : As many as 29 members of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, who are members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Labour, will visit Hyderabad on a study tour on Saturday.
As per the scheduled, the Committee members will arrive at Hyderabad on Saturday at 7.20 PM from Vishakhapatnam. At 8.30 PM, they will have informal discussion with the officials of SBH on Deployment of Contract/Casual Workers/Sanitation workers for perennial nature of jobs and at 9.30 PM they will have interaction with the representatives of MVF (NGO) on “The Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2012.
On 29th July at 9.00 AM the Committee will have interaction with the representatives of trade unions of casual/contract workers of Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited followed by discussion with the officials of Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited on “Deployment of Contract/Casual workers/Sanitation workers for perennial nature of jobs and they will leave for Tirupathi on the same day at 12.40 PM.
