Cong leaders firm on keeping AP united: Sailajanath

Hyderabad, July 23 : Primary Education Minister S Sailajanath on Tuesday claimed that only Congress leaders were making honest efforts to keep Andhra Pradesh united.

Talking to reporters in the Assembly premises, Sailajanath said that the Congress MPs, MLAs, MLCs and other leaders from Rayalaseema and Andhra region were working hard to keep the State united. However, by announcing their support to Telangana State, he said that the Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress party have strengthened the statehood movement. He said both the parties should be held responsible if the Centre decides in favour of Telangana.

Sailajanath informed that the Seemandhra ministers would meet on Wednesday at Club House of Minister’s Quarters in Banjara Hills at 4 PM to decide the future course of action to be adopted to keep the State united. INN
