Botsa asks Cong cadre to help flood-hit people

Hyderabad, July 22 : PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana on Monday appealed to the Congress cadre to actively take part in the relief and rescue operations in the flood affected areas in the State.

Talking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan here, Botsa appealed to the government to expedite relief and rescue operations while making arrangements to help the farmers who lost their crops. He said that the government should pay ex-gratia to the families of those who lost their lives due to recent floods and heavy rains. Further, steps should be taken to provide housing facility for those whose houses were damaged.

Botsa said that measures should be taken to provide compensation and further financial help to the affected farmers. INN
