12-day Handloom weavers Mela takes off

Hyderabad, July 19 : Tollywood Actress Diksha Panth on Friday inaugurated the Handloom weavers Mela 2013, a 12-days exclusive Handloom products exhibition, organised by Pochampally Silks and Sarees at its premises at Abids.

Weavers from Pochampally, Gadwal, Narayanpet, Uppada and Venkatagiri are exhibiting exclusive Handloom products like handmade bed, Home Linen, Dress Materials, Silk and Cotton Saris in exquisite designs and contemporary colours by Textile designers and skillfully created by famous weavers from Andhra Pradesh.

“It’s glad to see various apparel, particularly Traditional Handlooms like, silk and cotton sarees, Dress Materials to be showcased for the Fashion Connoisseurs,” said Actress Diksha Panth. “Platforms such as this are required to reach out women looking for well-designed cotton, silk wear and exclusive hand made products” she added.
