Selected Haj pilgrims asked to pay second installment

Hyderabad, July 11 : The Haj Committee of India Mumbai has fixed airfare and the balance Haj Amount to be paid by the selected Haj Pilgrims for Haj 2013 by adopting the exchange rate of one Saudi Riyal = Rs 16.0729 towards expenditure in foreign Exchange in the KSA.

State Haj Committee Chairman Syed Khaleeluddiin Ahmed and Executive Officer Abdul Hameed said that the pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh who have opted for the Green Category should pay the balance Haj Amount of Rs. 1, 03,800 and the pilgrims of the Azeezia Category should pay Rs. 73,750 towards balance Haj Amount before 27th July 2013. The balance Haj Amount should be paid through Core Banking System only in any branch of State Bank of India to the Haj Committee of India’s Bank Account No “FEE Type – 25” indicating their Cover Number , Bank Reference Number , Branch Name & Code on the Pay-in-Slip. No Bank Draft/Cash/Cheque will be accepted.

The pilgrims have been advised to deposit the balance Haj Amount in accordance with the Accommodation Category opted by them before 27th July 2013. If the Balance Haj Amount is not paid by the pilgrims by 27-07-2013 his seat will get cancelled without any further notice and it will be allotted to those in Wait List Category.

They further said that the Shia Pilgrims landing at Jeddah Haj Terminal and opting for JOHFA as Meeqat are required to pay extra Rs. 1600 per pilgrims. INN
