OU will support add on Courses: VC

Hyderabad, July 11 : Department of Mathematics, Osmania University organized a six-week course in .Net software technology between the last week of May,2013 and second week of July,2013.

Speaking at the valedictory function organized yesterday OU VC Prof. Satyanarayana said that the need of the hour is to organize a good number of add on courses that help the students to get employment quickly. He suggested that all the Departments of the OU should explore the possibilities of organizing as many add on courses as possible and promised that they will receive full support from the University.

Prof. Satyanarayana congratulated students on improving their skills related to this new .Net software technology popular in the current market. Later OU VC gave away the certificates to the students who successfully completed .Net course. Training is imparted to about 26 students.

Prof. Ramana Murthy, the course coordinator said that .Net is the new subject introduced in B.E, M.Sc(CS), M.Tech(CS) as a part of curriculum. It is required by every student of these disciplines to be aware of .Net technology.
