Uttarakhand CM thanks Kiran Kumar Reddy

Hyderabad, June 30 : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna thanked Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Andhra Pradesh State Government for its generous contribution for flood victims of their State.

Vijay Bahuguna spoke over phone on Sunday morning and thanked the Chief Minister. He said that at a time of distress, timely, moral, physical and financial assistance from the Government of Andhra Pradesh helped a lot.

It may be recalled that the Chief Minister announced Rs 50 Crores to Uttarakhand floods, of which Rs 10 Crores were given directly to their government and Rs 40 Crores for pilgrim amenities complexes at ‘Chardham’.

Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh State Government Retired Employees Association announced a contribution of one day’s pension from the monthly pension of July 2013 towards Prime Minister’s Relief Fund in connection with the flood affected area at ‘Chardham’ in Uttarakhand. INN
