ONGC honours OU student

Hyderabad, June 18 : The ONGC has honoured Ms. S. Prasanna, a student of M.Sc. Geophysics (2010-2012), with a Cash Prize of Rs One Lakh and a Gold Medal for getting 1st Rank in M.Sc. Geophysics in the Department of Earth Sciences of Osmania University.

Prasanna belongs to Sarapaka Village, Burgampad Mandal, near Bhadrachalam, Khammam District. Presently she is pursuing Ph.D. in Geophysics from Osmania University.

The cheque of Rs 1,00,000 was presented by the OU Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Satyanarayana in the presence of Principal, University College of Science, Head & Chairman, Board of Studies, Dept. of Geophysics, Osmania University. INN
