Hyderabad, June 7 : Labour Minister Danam Nagender on Friday inaugurated a joint identification camp under Khairtabad Constituency involving GHMC BC,SC, ST, Minorities Corporations at Narayanaguda under Barkatpura division.
The Minister said that the main purpose of conducting the camp is to create awareness to the women particularly in slums about the schemes and also identifying the beneficiaries under various schemes taken up by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, so that the women can avail the loan facilities given to them by the bankers. This awareness campaign helps them to know the procedures for taking loans under various schemes.
Nagender congratulated GHMC Commissioner MT Krishna Babu and Hyderabad Collector Syed Ali Murtuza Rizvi for taking up this type of camp in the twin cities. He further said that the camp has organized in a very planned manner arranging help desks so that the women / beneficiaries can interact with the community organizers how to fill the application forms and to know all the details for obtaining loan under various schemes.
The Minister has praised the services rendered by Additional Commissioner (UCD) CN Raghu Prasad for taking more responsibility in conducting this camp. Later, the Minister has released a brochure with regard to details of various Self Employment schemes implemented by GHMC and SC, ST, BC Minority Corporations.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishna Babu said that the State Government has taken up lot of schemes to help the women for obtaining loans and the Government has decided to enhance the target for this year, keeping in view of the directions this camp has been conducted to create awareness among the women duly involving the Corporators, Ward Committee / Area Sabha Members / Self Help Groups for their active participation under this joint identification camp to help the beneficiaries in getting loans.
Murtuza Rizvi said that this type of camps were being conducted regularly in rural areas as per the directions of the Government it has been decided to arrange such camps in urban areas under all the Assembly constituencies in the twin cities involving Hon’ble MPs, MLAs and Corporators to reach the targets for this year.
Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav said that the scheme was good all women must come forward to avail this type of facilities given by the Government to stand on their own for their livelihood.
Barkatpura Corporator Diddi Rambabu welcomed the dignitaries and Sri C.N. Raghu Prasad, Additional Commissioner (UCD) proposed vote of thanks.
Deputy Mayor G Rajkumar, senior officials and bank coordinators of various banks like Andhra Bank, Syndicate Bank, SBH, SBI, Corporations etc., and senior officials from GHMC, Hyderabad Collector, SC & ST and minority Corporations and women’s from various Self Help Groups also participated in the camp.
