Over 34,000 skip inter supplementary exams

Hyderabad, May 23 : As many as 34,653 candidates have abstained from the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations held in two sessions across the State on Thursday.

Of 3,28,242 candidates in General and 29,059 in Vocational category who registered for the exams, 27,282 or nearly 7.64 per cent candidates abstained in the morning session for English Paper – I.
Similarly, of 60,169 candidates in General and 14,597 in Vocational category who registered for the exams, 7,371 or nearly 9.86 per cent candidates abstained in the afternoon session for English Paper – II exam.

While six cases of malpractice were booked in the morning session, 10 cases booked in afternoon session. The Board of Intermediate Education has sent observers to Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar and Ranga Reddy districts.
