Vijayamma’s grandmother passes away

Kadapa, April 7: YSR Congress party’s honorary president YS Vijayamma’s grandmother Somamma passed away on Sunday morning.

She was 96 and was suffereing from old age problems. She died at the residence of Kadapa’s ex-Mayor Ravindranath Reddy. On receiving information about her death, Vijayamma left for Kadapa after ending her hunger fast that she undertook along with other YSRCP legislators over energy crisis.

Sharmila too gave a break to her “Maro Praja Prasthanam” padayatra and left for Kadapa from Jonnalapadu in Krishna district. She is likely to resume her padayatra on April 9.
