Hyderabad, March 11 : BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday held Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy responsible for the ongoing power crisis in the State.
Addressing a press conference here, Venkaiah Naidu said that the energy crisis have been deteriorating due to short-sightedness of the Chief Minister. He said that the government failed to realise that there would be shortage of water and gas for power generation and adopted a careless attitude to address the problem.
Venkaiah Naidu said that the Chief Minister was busy trying to hit headlines by announcing various sops. However, he was not serious about overcoming real crisis being faced by the people. He also condemned the government for the hike in power tariff and registration charges. He said that the registration charges were increased by almost 400 per cent in the recent past. INN
