Ponnala appears before HC in election case

Hyderabad, February 21: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday posted the next hearing to February 27 in the election case of Information Technology Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah.

Meanwhile, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, who appeared before the court on Thursday gave a detailed account of his election in 2009.

Ponnala got elected from the Janagaon Assembly segment of Warangal district in 2009 elections. However, his immediately rival TRS candidate Kommuru Pratap Reddy challenged Ponnala’s election alleging irregularities. INN
