Congress will be wiped out from Telangana: Rapolu

Hyderabad, January 26 : Rajya Sabha member Rapolu Ananda Bhasker on Saturday warned that the Congress party would be wiped out from the region if it fails to take a favourable decision on Telangana.

Talking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan, Rapolu said that it was high time that the Centre announces its decision on Telangana issue. Referring to the Jai Andhra Pradesh meeting organised by Undavalli Arun Kumar at Rajahmundry on Friday, he said that the meeting was a proof that people from Seemandhra and Telangana would not live together.

Rapolu also pulled up PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana for attending the Rajahmundry’s meeting while crossing his limitations and responsibilities. He ridiculed Botsa’s contention that he attended the meeting in personal capacity. He said Botsa has proved that he was a Seemandhra leader first and then the PCC president.
