Ex-Kadapa Mayor and Jagan’s uncle booked for forgery

Kadapa, January 18: The One Town Police Station has registered a forgery case against former Kadapa Mayor Ravindranath Reddy. He is the brother-in-law of former Chief Minister late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy and uncle of YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Ravindranath Reddy has allegedly used a forged seal and signatures to submit an application in the Peddacheppali cooperative elections of DCOs held on January 12. On a complaint lodged by the local Telugu Desam Party leaders, the police registered a case under Sections 468, 471, 473 and 420 of IPC.
