Hyderabad, March 3 : Apropos to the meeting between the Army authorities and the RWAs held on Sunday, the Army has clarified that the purpose of the meeting was to apprise and interact with the representatives of RWAs to clarify the Army point of view while discussing their concern and problems. This was done adequately.
“As regards the issue of not allowing a large gathering to collect inside venue, the Army is of the view that to make the meeting purposeful, it was necessary to confine the strength to the committee members of RWAs only as otherwise it would have become a public rally,” the Army said in a press release.
It was clarified in the meeting that the restrictions were to be imposed in a phased manner commensurate to the infrastructure improvement by the civil administration. It was once again reiterated by the army authorities that as the case is subjudice, they will abide by the Orders of the High Court and no restrictions will be put on roads till Court judgment is given.
