Safe water to flouride-hit Nalgonda by year end

Hyderabad, June 27 (INN): Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy said that all flouride hit areas of Nalgonda district would get safe drinking water by the end of this year.

Speaking to media persons after holding a review of Mission Bhagiratha works in Kondapur village of Nalgonda district on Tuesday, the minister said safe drinking water would reach all flouride affected village under Mission Bhagiratha to fulfill the promise made by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. He said top quality was being maintained in execution of Mission Bhagiratha works and they would be completed as per schedule. He said the construction of intake wells, power supply and laying of pipelines were being done simultaneously to avoid any delays. He said the construction of over head tanks has been completed in several villages and trial run was also being done. (INN)
