People fed-up with TDP governance: YSRCP

Hyderabad, Aug 17 (INN): Terming the ongoing Gadapagadapaku YSR as huge success YSR Congress Party on Wednesday that the strengthening the party from grass-root level and building a structural hierarchy from village level, the mass contact programme would continue with more vigour in the next six months.

“Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has chaired a review meeting of the Gadapagadapaku YSR programme which started 40days backs and took stock of the feedback which overwhelmingly was loaded against the TDP for its failure to keep up its poll promises and to run the welfare schemes to the desired effect,” party leader Tammineni Sitaram told reporters here on Wednesday after the meeting.

He said that the review has clearly shown with the data collected from the people’s ballot showing despair at the TDP governance as it has failed to fulfill the poll promises and people are subjected to hardships with TDP cadre taking decisions in the name of Janmabhoomi Committees ignoring elected representatives.

The programme would continue for another six months, as per the directions of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, and the cadre should visit every village working 16 days per month to build up the party hierarchy from village level to mandal, constituency and district level which will strengthen the party further, he said.

The response to the special status bandh call stands as an indicator to the rejection of TDP governance and the backing of YSR Congress and people are working with renewed vigour and at every place they getting representations on their grievances, he said.

“YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, in the review meeting had chalked out the future course of action and has asked to submit case study reports and three names from the grass root level besides formation and strengthening of affiliated wings like the students, farmers, women and other wings. People are highly motivated to work with the Opposition and are fed up with government policies,” he said adding that the next review meeting would be after one month. (INN)
