OU to conduct TS EdCET – 2015 on June 6

Hyderabad, March 4 (INN): The Osmania University will conduct the TS Ed.CET – 2015 on 6th June from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.

The decision was taken during the meeting of the TS Ed.CET -2015 Committee held at Osmania University here on Wednesday. Those who attended the meeting include TSCHE Chairman Prof. T. Papi Reddy, OU Registrar Prof. E.Suresh Kumar, TSCHE Vice-Chairman Prof. S. Mallesh and Convener Prof. P. Prasad and members from Osmania and other Universities of Telangana State.

Several major decisions were taken at the first TS Ed.CET meeting.It has been decided that from this academic year the B.Ed course duration will be for two years. The B.E. and B.Tech graduates will be eligible to pursue B.Ed with Mathematics and Physical Science methodology as choice of subject in the B.Ed course.

The application submission will be done through “Online” mode only.

The notification for TS Ed.CET -2015 will be issued on March 12. The commencement of submission of Online application form will begin from March 16. The Registration fee is Rs.300. For SC/ST candidates, the registration fee is Rs 150. The Application registration fee may be paid at TS Online/AP Online/ Mee-Seva/E-Seva centres in Telangana State or A.P. through Payment Gateway ( Credit Card/Debit Card).

The last date of Submission and Registration of Online application form without late fee is May 7; with late fee of Rs 500 is May 14 and with late fee of Rs 1,000 is May 21. The candidates can download hall tickets from website www.tsedcet.org from May 31. While the examination will be held on June 6, the results will be declared on June 25.

The test will be conducted at 10 Centres at Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Siddipet, Warangal, Jangoan, Khammam, Kothagudem, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahaboobnagar, Wanaparthy.
