Three killed, 12 injured in blast at Oil Company at KPHB

Hyderabad, Feb 23 (INN): At least three persons were killed and 12 others were injured in a major blast in Gulf Oil (IDL) Company in KPHB Colony here on Monday.

The detonators kept in the company are suspected to have caused the blast. The impact of the blast was so intense that two workers – Sharavan and Amar died on the spot. Another worker, Anupama died while being shifted to a hospital. The injured persons have been admitted to the Apollo Hospital at Jubilee Hills.

Kukatpally DCP Karthikeye, Kukatpally MLA Krishna Rao, Serilingampally MLA A Gandhi and others reached the spot and directed the officials to extend required assistance to the victims and their families.
