Hyderabad, Feb 19 (INN): Union Minister of Minority Affairs Dr Najma Heptulla re-assured her ministries full support in carrying forward the programmes launched in Telangana State for the welfare of all the Minority communities.
In a letter addressed to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, the Union Minister mentioned that she has already directed the officials of her ministry to expeditiously deal with the proposals coming from the Government of Telangana to the Ministry of Minority affairs.
Recalling her meeting with the Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali on 10th February in Delhi, she said that, she had a fruitful interaction with him and got a firsthand appraisal of the various schemes and programmes launched in the state of Telangana under the leadership of the Chief Minister.
The Union Minister thanked KCR for his letter intimating the remarkable achievements of the Government of Telangana in enrolling the members of the minority communities in Aadhar and Opening of bank accounts and seeding them with the Aadhar numbers for the distribution of different scholarships. She said she was also happy to note that the Government of Telangana was taking several initiatives for the all round development of minority communities.
