TRS Govt implementing only political agenda, alleges BJP

Hyderabad, Sept 12 (INN): BJP senior leader Nallu Indrasena Reddy on Friday strongly criticised the TRS Government while accusing it of ignoring the development of Telangana.

Addressing a press conference at the State BJP office here, Indrasena Reddy asked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to explain the measures being taken by his government for the development of new State. He alleged that there was no coordination between ministers and officials which brought the administration to a halt. He said that the Chief Minister needs to enlighten the people about the practical steps being taken by his government for the development of State.

Indrasena Reddy alleged that the TRS Government was pursuing only political agenda while setting its primary duty of bringing development in the State. He also accused KCR of not the opposition parties into confidence. He said not a single all-party meeting on any issue was held by the government since it came to power over three months ago.

The BJP leader said that the non-implementation of promise of waiving off farm loans drove several farmers to suicide and the government is yet to react on the issue. Similarly, the issue of fee reimbursement remained unaddressed despite completion of nearly 40% of the academic year. The admission process in engineering and medical colleges got delayed due to the adamant attitude of the State Government. He said KCR wants to survive just by criticising the people or leaders of Seemandhra region so as to please the people of Telangana. However, he said that the people would not respond to the tactics of diversion of attention from the real issues confronting their day-to-day lives.
