GHMC panel inspects commercial complex site

Hyderabad, Aug 21 (INN): The Standing Committee members of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on Thursday visited the site of proposed commercial complex at Chilkalguda.

It may be mentioned that in the 3rd Ordinary meeting of the Standing Committee held on August 7 while transacting the item with regard to construction of commercial complex at Chilkalguda and laying of CC road from APDDC to Hanuman Nagar, Tarnaka, the Standing Committee adjourned the items for want of inspection and asked the GHMC Engineer-in-Chief to arrange for inspection of said site. As desired, the inspection to both the sites was arranged on Thursday where seven Standing Committee Members along with Engineer-in-Chief visited and inspected laying of CC road from APDDC to Hanuman Nagar, Tarnaka and construction of commercial complex at Chilkalguda, Secunderabad.

The Standing Committee Members opined that the Chilkalguda commercial complex, which is coming up in a prime area, must have strong foundations a it is closer to a metro station. They also suggested that there should be ample space for parking at the commercial complex for which the GHMC can collect more revenue from this complex.

Standing Committee members Mir Wajid Ali Khan, Abdul Qavi Ansari, Mohd. Yousuf Naqshbandi, Anil Singh D, Mohd. Farooquddin, A. Mahesh Yadav and local corporator P Meera, Local Corporator, Chilkalguda, Engineer-in-Chief R. Dhan Singh and senior officials from Engineering wing have participated in the inspection.
