IHS: Holiday for private firms on Aug 19

Hyderabad, Aug 13 (INN): The Telangana Government on Wednesday issued orders declared a holiday on August 19 to all the employees and workers employed in Private Establishments and Factories.

The holiday has been declared under the AP Shops and Establishments Act, 1988 and AP Factories Act, 1948 throughout the Telangana State including the GHMC Area on account of Intensive Household Survey. The Commissioner of Labour and Director of Factories have been asked to take further necessary action in this regard.
