Goutham Adani calls on KCR

Hyderabad, Aug 11 (INN): Adani Group of Companies chairman Goutham Adani called on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in his chambers on Monday.

Adani has explained about the companies profile and activities being taken up. He has briefed the Chief Minister that they will be able to produce 20000 MW of power by the year 2020 and would be in a position to supply to needy states.

The Chief Minister said that Government of Telangana is coming out with an Industrial policy by which a single window clearance will be in place. He said that the government has already identified land to provide to the industries after developing in all aspects including infrastructural facilities. However, the Chief Minister admitted that there is a shortage of power and will be happy if Adani Group comes forward with its ideas to ease out the power problem.

Chief Secretary Rajeev Sharma and Principal Secretary S Narsing Rao were also present in the meeting.
