Hyderabad, Aug 11 (INN): GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar on Monday said that elaborate arrangements are being made to take up the Comprehensive Household Survey on August 19th.
The GHMC Commissioner appealed all the citizens to be at home on August 19 for giving particulars to the Enumerator. The main aim of the survey is to create a database of all the households which will be used to benefit poor sections of the society with government schemes. If the citizen wants a connection of LPG gas, Passport and other imported necessary documents from the Government they must enter their households details in the database which is being taken up in the survey. The GHMC officials will be distributing survey check slips and also the list of documents to be produced on August 19th. He said the officials will conduct pre-visits on August 17th and 18th for the survey.
Somesh Kumar said information related to water and electricity connections or property tax details can be gathered from the receipts of the recent bills. Similarly, the citizens can give a Xerox copy of Caste Certificate, Birth Certificate or Physically Challenged Certificate to the Enumerator to enable him to furnish the entire details in the household survey.
A pamphlet on survey and also a checklist in all the three languages will be given to the household on 17th and 18th August. A sticker is also being provided to the Enumerator to paste on the door of the house which is being surveyed.
