Hyderabad, Aug 9 (INN): The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is planning to provide 105 vehicles, with each costing around Rs 7 lakh, to the unemployed youth.
GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar said that the “Driver Cum Owner” (DCO) was another innovative scheme taken up by the GHMC in order to make the drivers become owners of the vehicle. He said that the GHMC would provide financial assistances to the youth and also help them in getting loan from the State Bank of Hyderabad. He said that the GHMC was trying to get subsidy based upon the caste from Industries department.
The 105 vehicles will be handed over to the beneficiaries before 15th of August in an event to be attended by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he said.
