Hyderabad, Aug 4 (INN): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao visited the historic Golconda Fort on Monday evening to have a look at the possible venues to conduct the flag hoisting and parade on Independence Day.
Accompanied with city ministers, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and senior officials, the Chief Minister had spent nearly 45 minutes at the Golconda Fort. A location near Fateh Rahbar Top (canon) also known as Athara (18) Seedhi (stairs) has reportedly been identified by the Chief Minister as an ideal location to conduct the official celebrations of Independence Day.
Later, the Chief Minister and his team also visited the famous Baobab tree also known as Hatiyan ka Jhad means (Elephant Size Tree) located in the Naya Qila.
