Purchase of 1000 MW power from Chhattisgarh gets CM’s nod

Hyderabad, July 31 (INN): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has given green signal to the officials of the TRANSCO and Electricity Department for signing the MoU with Government of Chhattisgarh for purchase of 1000MW of power. He also instructed the officials to promote solar roof top net metering in urban areas.

The decision was taken during a meeting attended by Prl. Secy to Chief Minister S. Narsing Rao, Prl. Secy. Energy SK Joshi, TRANSCO Managing Director Syed Rizvi, Joint Managing Director Karikeya Mishra and other officials.
