Hyderabad, June 22 : Andhra Pradesh Rural Development Minister Kimidi Murunalini on Sunday announced that the State Government would create more job opportunities in the rural areas.
The Minister said that the TDP Government would adopt a new approach towards development of rural areas. Besides ensuring housing, sanitation and other facilities in rural areas, the government would also focus on creation of employment opportunities in backward and remote areas. He said this would reduce the problem of migration and would increase economic activities in all the rural areas.
Murunalini, who assumed charged in the State Secretariat here on Sunday, said that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has asked experts to prepare a comprehensive policy for the overall development of rural areas in Andhra Pradesh. He said proper implementation of the schemes would change the look and feel of all rural areas in the State. INN
