Hyderabad, June 20 : Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali on Friday inspected the arrangements being made in Royal Mosque at Public Gardens for the ensuing Ramzan festival.
Accompanied with Nampally MLA Jaffer Hussain Meraj, GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar and other officials, the Deputy Chief went around the mosque to check the prevailing conditions. He said that the government has sanctioned Rs 3.60 crore for the renovation and restoration works of Royal Mosque. He said that efforts were on acquire the two adjacent structures to carry out activities related to the mosque.
The Deputy CM directed the officials to complete the renovation works before the beginning of holy month of Ramzan on June 29. INN
