Research activity in OU at encouraging scale: Registrar

Hyderabad, June 19 : Osmania University Registrar Prof. K. Pratap Reddy informed that the research activity at Osmania University has been continuing on an encouraging scale.

During the last three academic years of Osmania University, the number of Research Scholars enrolled in various faculties is 3,634 and 1095 PhDs have been awarded. “It is obvious that the research activity is on full swing and progressing ahead unhampered. The state of the art research infrastructural facilities and the adequate funding from the research institutions resulted in the substantial increase in the quality research,” the Registrar said.

“It is therefore amply clear that the par excellence research activity at Osmania University is an achievement to reckon with,” Prof Pratap Reddy said.  INN
