Hyderabad, June 19 : The Indian advertising industry is growing very fast and India’s rural market by 2015 will be double that the urban market, FAPCCI President Shiv Kumar Rungta said.
He was speaking after launching the Advertisement Film Making workshop at JSK Hall of Federation House here on Thursday. The workshop was organized by Adventura – The Media Advertising and Production house in association with Kushmanv Information Technologies.
“While 21 million Indian users use social media and online mediums to find partners, 40 million browse online for reviews. The Internet growth is mainstreaming among the young population of India and the mobile access is growing in leaps and bounds. 1/6th of the Indian population are internet users, while 1/10th are mobile internet users. 300 Mn Indian Consumers will be online by 2020 and e-commerce market worth would be $100 Bn” Rungta said.
According to the research by various organizations on Indian Advertising Industry, Internet consumers, digital media consumption in India, advertising market in India, mobile users and its usage, users demographics & behavior and other domains surrounding digital eco-system, Rungta said.
