AINEF condemns ban on two Telugu new channels

Hyderabad, June 17 : The All India Newspaper Employees Federation (AINEF), an International Affiliate of Inter National Federation of Journalists (IFJ)condemned the ban on telecostings of TV-9 and ABN Andhra Jyothi Telugu channels by MSOs’ in Telangana State since Monday.

AINEF Vice-President and Andhra Pradesh Journalist Union General Secretary Ch Purnachandra Rao in a media release said that this type of ban was a blatant attack on the fourth estate and unethical. He demanded that the Telangana Government lifts the ban immediately and save the freedom of press.   INN
