Hyderabad, June 14 : The Sivaramakrishnan Committee on Saturday made a power point presentation to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on the new capital of residuary State.
The members of the Committee, which was appointed to search a new capital for Andhra Pradesh, had a detailed discussion with Naidu on the suitable locations. They briefed the Chief Minister on the outcome of their visits to different places in Seemandhra region in search for the new capital. They told Naidu that they already visited cities including Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry and Vijayawada and interacted with experts on the issue.
According to sources, Naidu sought to know the viability of setting up the new capital between Vijayawada and Guntur cities. Further, it was also discussed whether to develop an existing city instead of constructing a new capital from the scratch. INN
