KCR thanks Sonia Gandhi for T-formation

Hyderabad, June 13 : Taking everyone by surprise, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday thanked AICC President Sonia Gandhi for her role in formation of Telangana.

During his reply to the debate on Governor ESL Narasimhan’s address in the Telangana State Legislative Assembly here, KCR said that Telangana would not have been possible without the support of Sonia Gandhi. He said that the Congress president decided in favour Telangana without bothering about the political consequences. He also thanked BJP president and present Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh for his support to Telangana.

KCR said that he was also thankful to 33 political parties, including the Bahujan Samaj Party, for their support to the demand for separate Telangana. He said he was thanking all the leaders on behalf of his party, people of the State and the House.  INN
