Hyderabad, June 13 : Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday assured that the State Government would review all the cases that were registered during the Telangana statehood agitation.
Speaking in the State Legislative Assembly here, KCR said that he would hold consultations with the Advocate General to explore the possibilities of withdrawing the case. Similarly, the Central Government would be asked to withdraw the cases booked by the Railway Police during the Rail Roko agitation.
KCR said that he himself was facing as many as 489 cases that were registered during the statehood agitation. He said nine cases were booked against him in just one day in different police stations. Shockingly, the time of offences mentioned in all the FIRs is same which itself shows that the cases were false in nature. INN
