Hyderabad, June 11 : The first session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly will continue till June 14.
The Assembly’s Business Advisory Committee (BAC) on Wednesday agreed to extend the session by one day till June 14. The debate on Motion of Thanks on Governor’s address will be held for two days till June 13 and conclude with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s reply. The Chief Minister is also likely to make statements on Polavaram Project issue.
The Telangana Assembly is also likely to pass out resolutions paying tributes to the martyrs of Telangana and also to the students who were killed Beas River Tragedy of Himachal Pradesh.
Meanwhile, the 11-member BAC has been formalised. The BAC will be chaired by Speaker S Madhusudana Chary. Chief Minister KCR, Deputy CM Dr T Rajaiah, Ministers – Etela Rajender, T Harish Rao and Pocharam Srinivas Reddy will represent the government. Congress leaders K Jana Reddy, Dr G Chinna Reddy, TDP floor leader Erraballi Dayakar Rao, MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi and BJP leader Dr K Lakshman will be its members.
