Finance Minister not permitted to hold presser in Assembly

Hyderabad, June 11 : Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajender faced a bitter experience in the premises on Telangana State Legislative Assembly on Wednesday.

The Finance Minister wanted to address a press conference in Committee Hall No 3 in Assembly premises to give his reaction on the Governor’s address to both the House of Telangana Legislature. He was accompanied with three more ministers – P Mahender Reddy (Transport), T Padma Rao (Excise) and Jogu Ramanna (Forest) and MLC Srinivas Goud. However, the officials reportedly told him that permission was required from the Assembly Secretary to conduct the press conference in Committee Hall. Later, they told the minister that the keys of Hall No 3 were missing.
