Etela welcomes Governor’s address

Hyderabad, June 11 : Finance Minister Etela Rajender on Wednesday praised the address by Governor ESL Narasimhan to the joint session of Telangana Assembly and Council.

Speaking to media persons at Assembly’s media point, Etela said that the Governor’s address clearly explains the roadmap and priorities of TRS Government. He said people of Telangana have high hopes on the new government and through Governor’s address it has touched upon all major issues which would be addressed in immediate future. He listed out various schemes announced in the Governor’s address.

Etela also informed that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would make a statement on the Polavaram Dam issue on the floor of the House on Thursday. He blamed the TDP for the ordinance issued by the Centre on Polavaram.

He assured that the TRS Government would fulfill all the promises that it made with the people.

Meanwhile, TRS MLA Aamir Shakil welcomed the Governor’s address and said the mention of 12% reservation for Muslims in education and government jobs shows the commitment of TRS Government towards minorities.  INN
