Gas cylinder explosion: One more injured dies

Hyderabad, June 9 : The death toll in the gas cylinder explosion incident that occurred at Nimboliadda on Saturday evening has increased to two with one more injured person succumbing to burns.

According to Kachiguda police, the deceased, N Shankar (40), was among five people who were injured in the gas cylinder explosion. One person had earlier died in the same explosion. Shankar was a tailor and resident of Esamia Bazar. He succumbed to burn injuries at the Osmania General Hospital in the early hours of Monday.

Kachiguda police have registered a case under Sections 304 Part II, 285,286, 109, 336 of Indian Penal Code, Sections 3 and 7 of Essential Commodities Act and Section 7 (B) of The Explosive Act 1884 against Brijesh Singh, a resident of Dhoolpet and owner of the illegal gas refuelling centre and are investigating, inspector Lakshmi Narayana said.

Harassment drives woman to suicide

Hyderabad, June 9 : A 27-year-old house wife died of burn injuries which she suffered after setting herself ablaze at her residence in Chikadpally police station limits.

According to Chikadpally police, the deceased T Baby (27) an Housewife W/o Srinivas, had allegedly setting her ablaze at her residence on June 7 evening hours, immediately she rushed to Gandhi Hospital for treatment where she died on Sunday late night hours.

Deceased husband allegedly being mentally and physically harassed for petty issues for last few months, deceased taking extreme step of suicide set ablaze herself.

Chikadpally Police has been registered a case under section 306 IPC against her husband Srinivas and dead body shifted to Gandhi Hospital Mortuary for postmortem after autopsy deceased body handed over to her relatives and began investigation.

Student killed in train accident

Hyderabad, June 9 : A 16-year-old student killed after he was hit by a train while playing on railway tracks.

According to Nampally Railway Police, the deceased D Saikumar (16) an tenth standard student S/o Srinivas Rao Resident of Vyshalinagar of Miyapur, while playing cricket with his friends on railway tracks between Hafeezpet and Chandanagar on sunday suddenly one speeding train hit due to which he was died on the spot.

The Nampally Railway Police registered a case and dead body shifted to Osmania Hospital Mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to his relatives.

Student body retrieved from swimming pool

Hyderabad, June 9 : The Pahadishareef police retrieved the body of an 13-year-old student who accidentally drowned in swimming pool while swimming.

According to Pahadishareef police, deceased J Rajesh (13) an Student S/o Saidulu R/o, Native of Gollapally village of Nalgonda district on Sunday evening hours deceased went to swimming pool at Pahadishareef for private swimming pool with his friends while swimming accidentally he drowned in pool due to which he was died on the spot. Police retrieved the body from swimming pool.

Pahadishareef police registered a case under section 304A against swimming pool owner and dead body was handed over to his relatives after an autopsy was conducted on Osmania Hospital mortuary and began investigations.

Woman electrocuted to death

Hyderabad, June 9 : A 22 year-old-woman died of electrocution while trying to dry wet clothes on a wire at Humayunnagar police station limits.

According to Humayunnagar police, deceased Aliya Fatima (22) an Housewife W/o Mohammed Akber Resident of Siddiqnagar of Mehdipatnam, on Sunday night hours deceased while trying to dry wet clothes on a wire mean time she got electrocuted due to which she was unconcious, immediately rushed to nearest hospital for treatment where doctors declared brought dead.

Aliya Fatima married with Mohammed Akbar an electrician on 23rd May 2011 and they had one daughter.

Humayunnagar police registered a case and dead body shifted to Osmania Hospital Mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to her relatives. Sub Inspector S Ranjit Kumar said.

One held in fraud case

Hyderabad, June 9 : Debit Card fraud through internet, where in the accused Nageshwar Reddy along with his friend Jayavardhan Reddy followed persons when they went to withdraw cash from ATM kiosks, noted their Debit/ATM card numbers and PINs and did internet transactions worth of Rs.1.1 Lacs, thereby cheating them.

On May 19, Y.S. Ranga Rao Resident of KPHB Colony, Hyderabad; lodged a complaint that he has savings bank account with Andhra Bank, Brodipet Branch, Guntur. On Mar 17, 2014 when he went an ATM centre he noticed a person who observed his card, standing closely behind him. He suspected that he might be there to commit fraud. On March 18, he received (08) SMS alerts to his mobile phone that 08 transactions worth of Rs 27,354 in all, were done. The complaint was shocked as he did not do them or authorized anyone on his behalf. Further, he mention that he can identify the suspect who stood behind him, if he happens to see him again, as he has scars on his face.

Based on the complaint, a case was registered in Cyber Crime PS, Cyberbad Under sections 419, 420 IPC, 66( C & D) of IT Act. During the course of investigation, when the complainant was shown an album of ex-convicts, he could identify the person who followed him to the ATM centre. He was identified as Vuppuluru Nageshwar Reddy, who is involved in (10) previous cases of 2011. The accused was picked-up from Miyapur X roads, when he came there to attend trail for his previous offences, after the complainant who accompanied the staff could identify him beyond any doubt on June 7, 2014. On interrogation, he confessed to have cheated the complainant along with his friend Jayavardhan Reddy, another ex-convict, sent to judicial custody from Cyber Crime PS, Cyberabad earlier. He also confessed to have collected ATM card details of unsuspecting SBI and Andhra Bank customers from Nizampet, KPHB Colony, Erragadda and chintal. From his confession, his role in another case which was registered based on the complaint of a woman from Moosapet, who was cheated for Rs.38,000 is also established. The accused with his aide, has duped (04) persons and made fraudulent gain of about Rs. 1.1lac.

The case was investigated by S. Rajasekhar Reddy Inspector along with Sub Inspector K. Srinivas of Cyber Crime Police Station, Cyberabad, Janaki Sharmila, Additional DCP Crimes Cyberabad, D. Pratap Reddy ACP Cyber Crime P.S. Cyberabad.
